Spring Ball T-Nut
Spring ball T-nut for aluminum profiles. The spring-loaded ball helps hold the nut in the slot, reducing drop-out during assembly.
Product Description
Spring ball T-nuts are aluminum-profile accessories commonly used for assembling industrial aluminum frames. They work like a nut with an internal thread and are shaped to match the slot of aluminum profiles.
The spring-loaded ball presses against the slot wall to increase friction and retention, helping prevent the nut from falling out when the profile is tilted or vertical.
Available sizes
Spring ball T-nuts are available in many sizes and materials (zinc/nickel plated steel, SUS304, SUS316, etc.). Below are common sizes for aluminum 30 and 40 profiles:- Aluminum 20 spring ball nut
- Aluminum 30 – thread M4
- Aluminum 30 – thread M5 (slot 6)
- Aluminum 30 – thread M6 (slot 6)
- Aluminum 30 – thread M8
- Aluminum 40 – thread M3
- Aluminum 40 – thread M4
- Aluminum 40 – thread M5
- Aluminum 40 – thread M6
- Aluminum 40 – thread M8
Materials
Commonly made from aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, and can also be produced in other materials:- Carbon steel: strong and durable; zinc/nickel plating improves corrosion resistance and appearance.
- Stainless steel (SUS304, 316): excellent corrosion resistance for humid/outdoor environments (food, chemical, medical, marine).
- Aluminum alloy: lightweight with mild corrosion resistance; useful when weight reduction is important.
- Copper: sometimes required for special applications (electronics or anti-static requirements) due to good ductility and machinability.
